Who we are

ROOM Studio is a recording studio at 2221 rue Dorion, Montréal. This policy covers roomstudio.ca, the client area and the ROOM Studio app. Updated: October 11, 2026.

What we collect

• Your contact details: name, email, phone.
• Your bookings: dates, length, options, messages to the studio.
• Your ID, once, to check who enters the studio.
• Your session videos, if you choose recording.
• Payment: handled by Stripe. We never see or keep your card number, only its brand and last 4 digits.

Why

To manage your bookings, send your door code, charge your sessions, deliver your videos and answer you. We use no advertising tracking, on the site or in the app, and we never sell your information.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers that run the service:

• Stripe (payments)
• Resend (emails)
• Google (studio calendar and your video folder)
• Render and Netlify (hosting of the site and client area)
• Cloudflare (video storage)
• igloohome (studio door code)
• CASA studio (clip editing, if you ask for it)

Some of these providers keep data outside Québec, including in the United States, with equivalent protections.

How long

Your contact details stay as long as your account exists. Paid sessions and their receipts are kept six years, as the law requires. The photo of your ID is only used to check who you are: it is never published or shared.

Your rights

You can see, correct or delete your information. In the app, Account then “Delete my account” does it right away. You can also write to roomstudio@casastudio.ca. You may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
