Terms and conditions for booking at ROOM Studio
For online payments, your card is authorized at booking: the amount is held, then captured once our team approves your request. If the request is declined, the hold is released and nothing is charged. No booking is confirmed before this approval. For on-site payment, the full amount is settled by card upon arrival at the studio.
For on-site payments, a CA$300 deposit is required upon arrival, refundable after inspection if no damage is observed. For online payments, your card is stored securely by our payment processor (Stripe) and serves as a guarantee: by booking, you authorize ROOM Studio to charge it for damages, overtime, penalties or cleaning fees observed after your session, with supporting evidence. Costs exceeding the deposit or guarantee remain the client's responsibility.
The client is responsible for all equipment used during their session. Replacement or repair costs for any damage to microphones, headphones, cables, cameras or furniture will be charged to the client.
The client retains full freedom of use of their video content. However, ROOM Studio and CASA Studio retain archive copies for security and promotional purposes.
Date changes require 48 hours notice and are subject to availability.
Sessions must end at the scheduled time. Any additional hour will be charged at $100 / hour.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the studio.
The client must leave the space clean at the end of the session. Additional charges may be withheld if the studio is left in poor condition.
The studio is not responsible for clients' personal belongings. The client is responsible for the safety of their guests for the entire duration of the session.
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Montreal.
